- Osteoporosis -
Based on Research by Dr. John R. Lee

Dr. According to John R. Lee, M.D., founder of the Progesterone Research Institute, natural progesterone may help to build new bone.

In one study, natural progesterone was give to 100 women with osteoporosis. The women ranged in age from 38-83 and most of them had already lost height from the disease.

After 6 months on natural progesterone all of the women had stopped losing bone and had actually gained new bone. Bone density increased by up to 10% in the women.

After 6 months, their bone density continued to increase by 3-5% per year. Within 3 years, women had achieved healthy bone density levels.

Also, the women who had the worse bone loss at the beginning of the study had the fastest increase on natural progesterone.

NOTE: Estrogen is often prescribed for women with bone loss. What estrogen does is hold old bone in place. It does not build NEW bone. Eventually that old bone will become weak.

That is why Dr. Lee recommended natural progesterone.
